Visit To Nehru Memorial Museum And Planetarium
Nehru Memorial Museum was the residence of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, near Chanakyapuri on Tenn Murti Road. It was previously known as Teen Murti Bhavan. Photographs and news paper clippings on display give a fascinating insight into the history of the independence movement.
A Jyoti Jawahar (torch) symbolises the eternal values he inspired and a granite rock is carved with extracts from his historic speech at midnight, 14-15 August 1947. Films and son et lumiere after sunset can be enjoyed. There is also a planetarium in the grounds. The show is of 4o minutes at 11.30 a.m and 3.00 p.m. there is also a small cafe above it for refreshments.
Museum Timings : 10.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m.
