Visit To National Gallery Of Modern Art
National Gallery Of Modern Art stands near India gate at the eastern end of the Rajpath, and was formerly the Delhi residence of the Maharaja of Jaipur. It hpuses an excellent collection pf works by both Indian and Colonial artists. It has superb collections of paintings dating back to 150 years.
Company school paintings of the 19th and early 20th centuries and the work of Rabindranath Tagore, Jamimi Roy and Marita Sher Gil hold pride of place amidst exhibits that give an overview of the evolution of modern Indian paintings and sculpture.
