ZongKhul Information, Kargil, Jammu and Kashmir
ZongKhul is a cave monastery located on the Padum - Kishtwar route and i s built around 2 caves in the hseer rock face of the gorge. Kargil also serves as the base of trekking expeditions. some of the important routes are :

Padam-Pishu-Pidmu-Snertse-Lishat-Chumpado Gongma-Singli-Photoksar-Hanupata-Chila-Lamayuru-Leh (12 days)
Padam-tungri-Ating-Huttra-Buswas-Machail-Atchole-Galhar-Kishtwar (7 days)
