Rashtrapati Bhavan - The official residence of the president of India stands at the opposite end of the Rajpath from the India Gate. Designed by Edward Lutyens, it combines western and eastern style. A huge copper dome lends the Indian touch. The Durbar hall is 23 mts in diameter and it has coloured marbles from all parts of India.

A Mughal garden occupying 130 hectares is to the west of the building which is open to the public in February and early March. To the south is Flagstuff house renamed Teen Murti Bhavan and houses the Nehru Memorial Museum.
