Mulbekh Information, Kargil, Jammu and Kashmir
Mulbekh is a typical Buddhist village located at about 45 kms. to the east of Kargil on the road to Leh. The chief attraction of Mulbekh is a 9 mts. high rocjk sculpture of Maitreya. Perched on a rocky cliff, the Mulbekh monastery dominates the valley.
