The world famous Lord Jagannath Temple at puri in Orrisa comes alive during Rath Yatra festival.The great temple chariot of Lord Jagannath makes it journey in a colourful parade. Similar festivals take place in other locations,particularly in the Darvidian south.
Teej:
Teej is a Rajasthani festival which welcomes the monsoons.Images of Goddess Parvati are paraded through the streets,amidst singing and dancing.
