Visit To Chatta Chowk
Lahori Gate Of Red Fort leads to a vaulted arcade - Chatta Chowk, and the shops in tghis arcade used to sell the upmarket items that royal household might fancy - silk, jewellery and gold. These days it is a row of antique shops. It was laos known as the Meena Bazaar, the shopping centre for ladies of the court. On Thursday, the gates of the court were closed to men, only women were allowed inside the citedal.
