Visit To Chandni Chowk
Chandni Chowk - the colourful shopping bazaar (market) is the main street of Old Delhi. It is the busy road that links the Lahore Gate of the Red Fort with the Fatehpur Masjid. Janahara, Emperor Shah Jahan's daughter, laid it out. This colourful bazaar of Old Delhi had a tree lined canal flowing down its centre and which quickly became renowned throughout Asia. Though it retains some of its magic show, now it is a bustling jumble of shops labyrinthine alleys with craftmen's workshops, hotels, mosques and temples.
