Amar Palace Museum in Jammu is located at Ramnagar. It boasts of a portrait gallery, Pahari paintings of Mahabharata scenes and royal memeorabilia. The palace is a curiosity. Four rooms are open but you can look into others through the windows. It has five views of the rivers. The Amar Mahal which has been converted into museum, houses the city's finest library of antique books and paintings. An enitre series of miniatures on the epic Nal-Damayanti can be seen here in the museum.
