National Museum of Natural History is located just opposite the embassy of Nepal on Barakhamba Road. It is fronted by a large model dinosaur and has a collection of fossils, stuffed animals and birds.
A special attraction is "hands-on" discovery room with creative activities animal modelling for children. It is a small but well assembled intorduction to India's natural heritage.
