Visit To Field Museum

Field Museum is housed near Purana Qila on Mathura Road. It has archaeological finds of excavations at this site from the legendary city of the Indraprastha. Coins from the early Sunga period (200 - 100 BC), red earthernware from the Kushan period (100BC - 300 AD), seals and figures from the Gupta period (200 - 600 AD) and stone sculptures (700 - 800 AD) and stone sculptures (700 - 800 AD) are displayed here. There is also a Rajput wing ( 900 - 1200 AD), glazed ware and coins from the Sultanate period (1206 - 1526).
Timings : 10.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m. (Tuesday to Sunday)
